Self-Discipline
The application of the principles of holistic natural health is dependent on some amount of self-discipline. This starts with a decision to commit to healthier lifestyle and dietary choices and practices.
Nourishing Dietary Choices
Why do you eat? Because it is mealtime on the clock or because you are hungry? What do you eat? The items you were raised to think you should eat, or the foods, snacks and beverages that taste good to you?
The promotion of food as commercial products has encouraged eating for taste and pleasure. The understanding of nutrition has been an afterthought for most. Widespread obesity and many other health problems are the clear indicators of this.
How much of the population is stuck in the "balanced meal" notion of meat, potatoes, bread, a cooked vegetable, a small side salad, milk, coffee, soft drink and/or alcohol, and maybe dessert? Most restaurants, banquets and hosted dinners still follow that model.
Most people also follow the programmed mindset of celebrating or consoling themselves with sweet or salty fat snacks and treats.
Too much fat, too much starch and sugar, too much protein, and too much cooking!
The United States Senate Select Committee on Nutrition and Human Needs was a select committee of the United States Senate chaired by Senator George McGovern between 1968 and 1977. After a series of hearings on the national diet, this committee issued nutritional guidelines. They were concerned the rising incidence of heart disease, cancer, stroke, high blood pressure, arteriosclerosis, obesity and diabetes.
Dietary Goals for the United States urged Americans to eat less fat, less cholesterol, less refined and processed sugars, and more complex carbohydrates (fruit, vegetables and whole-grains) and fiber, and less high-fat meat, eggs, and dairy products.
You may be eating more than you need to eat, especially if the food is not so good. Deficient soils, low nutrition crops, processed food products with sugar and additives, applying fire to most foods, overeating, poor food combining, and poor digestion, absorption and assimilation -- no wonder nutritional deficiency and degenerative disease are epidemic.
The long-lived healthy people of the world are almost all slender, with an active lifestyle, even in their older years. They eat mostly fruits, garden fresh vegetables and beans, with modest amounts of animal source foods, seeds and grains. They drink natural water, free of added chemicals. They do a lot of walking and many chores around home such as gardening and carrying water.
Overeating clogs the system, especially the heavier cooked animal proteins and fats. Sugar and refined starches are low-grade, unhealthy products.
Milk, cheese and other dairy foods are not suitable for regular human consumption. Cow's milk is for supporting the growth of a half-ton or greater animal. No mammal continues eating nature's baby food as adults, except humans.
Fats carry more of any toxins, so if consuming animal foods it is important that it be from organically fed sources.
Organic butter is the best dairy food. Yogurt and kefir are more easily digested than cheese.
Our meals should be simple and modest. If you feel "stuffed" after eating, you probably ate far more than needed. Eat when hungry, and as little as possible of good things. Food may be hard to come by at some point. Start training by getting by on less of it. Chewing slowly and thoroughly, the hunger signal is likely to dissipate more rapidly, with less eaten.
I suggest eating primarily fruits, vegetables, seeds, nuts and sprouts. Food sources should be high quality, organically-grown and minimally cooked. Animal source proteins and fats, as well as grains, legumes and nightshades should be only small portions of food intake. Processed carbohydrates are best avoided.
Vegetables with many seeds, including tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, squash, beans and peas, are high in lectins, compounds that can interfere with digestion and irritate tissues. Grains and seeds are high in lectins also. Modest amounts of these foods are alright, but it is easy to get too much of the lectins and have problems as a result.
Legumes -- beans, peas and peanuts -- also have other anti-digestive components that interfere with enzymes, potentially causing excess gas formation.
Soaking legumes, seeds and grains ahead of cooking, or sprouting them for raw consumption, can reduce some of these factors.
Vegetable oils should be fresh and refrigerated as they can easily go rancid, except for olive oil and coconut oil, which are the best ones for use in cooking. Canola oil, soybean oil and corn oil, which are often from GMO sources, should be avoided.
Add turmeric and/or cinnamon when appropriate for antioxidants, and a little Himalayan or Celtic salt for minerals. Other seasoning herbs that have benefits include parsley, oregano, rosemary, sage and thyme
The nutrients in natural foods are in the ideal form for the body to digest, absorb, assimilate and utilize. However, the agricultural soils have become deficient, so commercial foods do not have full nutrition to offer.
Organically-grown produce is most desirable. It needs to be raised properly in soil that is refurbished with mineral-rich materials in a good balance and pH for healthy plant growth. Further, the organic field must be far enough from chemical agricultural fields and other sources of pollution to avoid blow-over of sprays, fallout of airborne poisons or contamination of the water supply.
60% to 80% of the diet should alkaline-forming foods, depending on the season. 75% or more should be raw. "There is no such thing as a 'good hot meal'."
Some combinations of food impair digestion, with less nutrients derived from the food. Proteins and starches have different digestive juice requirements, so "meat and potatoes" or most sandwiches are not are not digested well. Fruits are best eaten apart from other foods, especially melons, or the juices ferment in your system.

Water Fit To Drink
To some extent we all take water for granted. It is an amazing substance -- a compound of basic elements -- hydrogen and oxygen -- that can be solid, liquid, gel or gas. Most importantly, water is absolutely necessary for life.
There is a key correlation between adequate water and good health. Most of us do not take in anywhere near the amount of good quality water we need.
The adult human body is 60% water by weight, and 75% by volume. All living organisms consist mostly of water.
The water in us, mostly in the cytoplasm of cells, is vital to our life-sustaining functions -- breathing, circulation, digestion, elimination, secretion, heat dissipation and the activities of most organs.
Through perspiration and elimination the body loses 3-8 pints of fluid daily. To maintain health, this must be replaced each day. Most people are severely dehydrated. Besides food and beverages, we need 6-8 glasses or more of pure water daily. The coffee, tea, soda pop, beer and wine many drink for their beverages of choice, are actually very dehydrating. More of that is consumed than water, making most people very dehydrated and too acidic.
While the body can survive up to two months without food, it cannot live longer than a few days without water. Most states of illness can be improved by consuming adequate pure water. You could have greater energy, everything would work better, and many symptoms of ill health may disappear.
You need purified water to keep the body clean inside. Most of us have sludge-like toxic waste circulating, polluting our blood and cells, and aging us prematurely.
Your body is calling for water all the time, and you are probably ignoring the signals. Thirst, dry, itchy skin, dried mucus in the nose, and difficult bowel elimination are just a few of them. Ailments and illnesses caused or worsened by dehydration can become serious over time.

Contaminants in Water
Raw water from the tap, often used in beverages, should be only "work water". Harmful chemicals and other contaminants make it unfit for drinking, showering or bathing without thorough purification. Chlorine, fluoride, lead, bacteria, algae, radioactive particles and agricultural and industrial chemicals are commonly in tap water.
Every city actually adds chemicals to water for various purposes, particularly chlorine and/or chloramines, powerful poisons used to kill bacteria and algae, and most likely fluoride as well, for no good reason. These can cause serious health problems.
Chlorine is a potent chemical that has been used in water treatment since the early 1900s to reduce germs in the water. Consuming it is a major factor in heart disease and cancer.
A U.S. Council of Environmental Quality study states that, "Cancer risk among people drinking chlorinated water is 93% higher than among those whose water does not contain chlorine."
Neither chlorine nor fluoride should be in the water, foods and medicines we consume, nor in the air we breathe.
Fluoridation of water has nothing to do with making water clean or safe, nor is it of any benefit to teeth. Fluoride is a neurotoxin that also seriously raises cancer risk.
So much fluoride was generated as industrial waste, that they could not get rid of it all for use as a poison for rats, mice, insects, etc.. So it was fraudulently promoted for inclusion in public water supplies of most cities based on a falsified dental care myth starting in the mid-20th Century.
Fluoride is a purposeful mass medication under the false pretense that it is good for the strength of tooth enamel. In fact it is not beneficial to teeth to drink fluoride. There may be a minor hardening result from topical application of it, but it is still poison, especially for children. It can actually make the teeth of some people mottled and brittle.
Toxic fluoride is in food products made with city water, in most toothpaste and mouthwash, and in most vaccines and many other medications. It is also commonly in the coal fly ash used for geo-engineering aerosol sprays, as are other toxic metals including aluminum and radioactive barium. We breathe in the fallout dust.
Fluoridation is a form of intentional mass poisoning with a toxic substance. It is a profitable way to get rid of waste from the fertilizer. aluminum and bomb-making industries, and it generates more massive profits for the medical industry with all the illness it causes.
Fluoride harms the brain, lowering IQ by up to 10 points, according to a published Harvard University study. Additionally, fluoride reduces fertility. It is also a carcinogen, with higher cancer rates found in fluoridated cities. Further, fluoride exacerbates thyroid iodine deficiency, impairing metabolism, and hardens the pineal gland, blocking intuitive intelligence.
How much intelligence-reducing, pregnancy-preventing, cancer-causing fluoride have you consumed? How about its circulatory disease and cancer-causing sister poison, chlorine?
Chlorine and fluoride are present in almost all city water in the USA, the water of about 66% of the population. Chlorine is justified as an antiseptic agent, but there is no benefit from fluoride. Both of these should be removed from the water before consumption with effective water purification.
Chlorine and fluoride are two of the many public poisons in our lives. Raw tap water is a chemical cocktail that should not be consumed without purification. Harmful amounts of fluoride and chlorine are intentionally added to water by cities, along with other added chemicals and the agricultural, industrial, radioactive, “fracking”, biological and geo-engineering pollutants already contaminating the water.
Bottled water is not the answer for meeting our need for water. There are no standards, and bacteria tests at the source are rare. In addition to the chemicals BPA or BPS from the plastic, what other contaminants are in it? How long since bottling? How often are filters changed on machines? What is the actual cost per gallon? HIGH! How many plastic bottles are accumulating in our landfills?
Structured Water
Today's water is not structured well for biological systems either. The water in the body's cells is structured by ionic charges repelling each other. Structured water is "wetter". It has a lower surface tension making it a better carrier and penetrator.
Energy for this process can come from the sun, the natural ground, live foods and herbs, ionic sub-colloidal minerals, healing hands and the heart. Good thoughts and feelings help the heart perform better, as does aerobic exercise.
The heart is not a pump, but a charging station for the blood cells. In the heart there is an energy vortex that recharges the blood cells, which move not only by body activity, but also by electrical charge.
70% of the cytoplasm in all cells is a structured gel form of water that also flows by ionic charge. Mitochondria, hydrophyllic proteins and minerals are also involved with ATP and the cellular energy process.
Reduction of energy and deterioration of structure in the cells is unhealthy and can lead to serious illness. Toxins, viruses and electro-magnetic fields (EMF) stop the flow of cellular cytoplasm and de-structures the water in it.
There are things that can be done to purify water, ionize it and structure it ahead of consumption to improve it so that it performs better in its primary functions in the body, such as penetrating membranes and carrying substances in and out of tissues and cells.
Redox water purification media generates a natural charge in water and minerals passing through it by a kinetic oxidation process. Catalysts for addition to water for structuring are also available.
We need to take in the best water we can get, all day every day -- safe water that has been processed through a good water purification system. Have a supply of biologically-compatible pure water with you, and sip it regularly.
The most convenient and effective way to have good quality water is to set up your own water purifier for filtered water right in your kitchen and bathroom.
NOTE: Every home absolutely needs a water purifier for both drinking water and showering and bathing. No matter where you live, there are contaminants in your water. Core samples of ice at the North Pole were found to have pollutants in it.
It is up to each of us to remove the chemicals at the point of use to protect ourselves from the serious long term effects of these poisons.
Bathing & Showering
What about bathing and showering? Harmful chemicals present in unpurified water can be readily absorbed by the skin. The volatile ones become vapors, inhaled as the warm water forms steam. Day after day these poisons enter your body and harm your lungs, leading to degenerative illnesses.

Home Environment Detox
There are multiple dangers to health in most homes that are not recognized as threats. We have been unknowingly exposed to public poisons that have been harming us for years.
There are poisons in food, water and even the air, primarily from geo-engineering aerosol sprays loaded with chemical and biological agents. Many toxins are also in home furnishings and household products. These poisons gradually accumulate and contribute to diminished mental ability and a variety of degenerative diseases.
Ignorance of common exposure to toxic agents and lack of understanding adequate nutrition are the primary reasons for most illness. What considerations are needed to make your home healthier?
If the officials were really concerned about our health, they would at least let us know about all these poisons if not preventing them. We deserve to know what harms us and what helps us so that we can protect ourselves as well as we can.
City water with chlorine and fluoride, food additives, medicines, household chemicals, GMOs, herbicides, pesticides, radiation, fracking, injection wells, geo-engineering spraying barium, aluminum, biological materials and many more toxins, dumping of toxic waste into the ground; these are all common sources of the poisons. One of the most intense exposures to toxins is in vaccinations and flu shots.
The electromagnetic frequencies (EMF‘s) from cell phones, cordless phones, wi-fi, smart meters and more are constantly stressing us, undermining health.
Our health is determined by what happens in the cells of the body. If they have all that they need to produce energy, and not too much toxins, stress and emf harm, health will be good.
Clear the home of poisons and harmful frequencies as much as possible. Examples include avoiding outdoor shoes in the house and turning off wi-fi and cell phones at night. You can set up a decontamination area by the door or on the porch for removal of outer garments and transferring to indoor only footwear.
Natural Holism
The holistic natural lifestyle is a key element of natural holism, the philosophy of life improvement. Living aware of whole consciousness usually leads to respect for the principles of holistic natural health. To review, these are:
1) detoxification and avoidance of the toxins from poor digestion, imbalanced metabolism and environmental public poisons
2) nourishment that supports health with organic foods, super foods, high quality herbs, antioxidants and pure water
3) relaxation of stress and tension, with good sleep, meditation and spiritual contemplation, while cultivating a positive attitude of improvement, attunement and wellness
4) exercise - a mixed routine of body building, lymph moving and aerobic activity
Detoxification needs to occur on the mental, emotional and etheric-spiritual levels as well as in the physical body. Similarly, nourishment, relaxation and exercise, are essential for all aspects of our nature to have a long well life. In addition to organic, mostly raw natural foods, a healthy attitude, creativity and good thoughts, such as loving kindness, are important.
The real self or soul is the center of our awareness and the individual agent of our holistic natural wisdom. One’s true self can be the guide for the process of life improvement.
From the viewpoint of this healthier lifestyle, holistic natural living is far superior to stress and poisons. Holistic healing is preferred over ill degeneration. Holistic reality is sought rather than accepting separative falsehood.
With whole consciousness, creative awareness of love, kindness and goodness enhances attunement with purpose and leads to good action for further improvement. That wisdom is enhanced by shared knowledge and experience.
